This team is responsible for creating an incredible first impression for newcomers and attenders at Fultondale FBC. Opportunities are available to serve as a Door Greeter or Lobby Greeter , on the Parking Lot Setup Team or Security Team. Most of the teams serve on a rotation. We love kids at FFBC and we are always looking for volunteers who are passionate about helping children know and follow Jesus! Our Main Street Kids Ministry has opportunities to volunteer on Sundays and Wednesdays. On Sunday mornings, volunteers can serve in the Nursery, Life Groups or on the Kids Church team. On Wednesdays, volunteers can help with our MidWeek Children’s activities.
Our Student Ministry aims to help students in Grades 7-12 know Jesus, grow in Christ, and make disciples. We are always looking for volunteers who have a love for students and a passion for helping accomplish this mission. Volunteers in the Student Ministry can serve either in Sunday morning Life Groups or during our Youth Group time on Wednesday nights.
Work with those getting baptized to offer encouragement and assistance before and after the baptism. This team provides towels and anything baptism participants need on the day of their baptism.
The Community Outreach Team helps plan, organize, and run outreach efforts in our community. We believe our address is no mistake. God has placed our church in our community and our people in their cities and neighborhoods for a purpose. Our communities should be impacted in a positive way simply because our church exists here! This team helps our church shine the light and spread the love of Jesus with those in our cities. Members of this team also carry out creative outreach ideas in their own neighborhoods. If you have a heart for reaching our community, this is the team for you!
Our Media Team helps provide a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere for those who gather for worship services using sound and media.
Prayer is vital to everything we do at Fultondale FBC! Our Prayer Team commits to praying each week for our church and for specific prayer requests submitted through Connect Cards and on our Virtual Prayer Wall. This team keeps all requests confidential and devotes time each day to praying for them. If you love the difference prayer can make, this is the team for you!
Our church partners with the Fultondale Community Ministries to serve those in need in our community through the Community Food Bank. Each month, volunteers help register, counsel, and assist food recipients at the Food Bank. Volunteers in this ministry will be trained and placed on the team. This is a fantastic way to make a difference in the lives of others.
The Campus Landscaping Team helps care for and maintain our church campus! This team has variety as each season brings new opportunities to freshen up the exterior appearance of our church campus. If you love working outside and with your hands, this might be the spot for you!
